Job Purpose:
The selected candidate for this position will be a valuable team member accountable for developing and supporting business and technological solutions within the scope of Caterpillar's Corporate Treasury function. The position will enable the achievement of departmental goals by providing support to business processes and systems, identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, optimizing the use of Treasury's purchased applications, and developing and delivering training.
Description:
The Business Process Analyst:

• Works directly with business partners to understand information needs and create solutions that ultimately help drive business continuity
• Provides ongoing application support to meet critical system up-time targets; occasional commitment for weekend or off-hour support to resolve issues for the global team
• Participates in configuration, customization, integrated testing, and user acceptance of purchased applications
• Leads projects and works with other support groups on the integration of other applications and data sources into Treasury processes
• Provides first line support for security maintenance of global Treasury workstation and related applications
• Works with internal and external auditing teams to maintain a strong process control environment
• Provides support for application data management
• Works on application/technical problem identification and resolution
• Develops documentation and training enhancements for key processes within Treasury

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or Information Technology related field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience

Top Candidate Will Also Have:

• Experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Crystal, and Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience working with Treasury Management Systems and applications, like FIS Quantum and Trax, and their underlying databases and configurations
• Experience with business process automation
• Knowledge of Treasury processes and procedures
• Ability to effectively and tactfully communicate orally and in writing
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the best solution
• Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects of different sizes
• Ability to work directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution
• Ability to plan, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the work of a given project

• Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify
