Job Description
About the team:

The FIS Americas Banking and Digital Consulting team provides project based services to help our banking customers create their unique service solutions. You will be working with a team of highly skilled consultants providing innovate solutions utilizing a variety of FIS products and services.
What you will be doing:
You will play a key role in helping our consulting business operationally improve. You will be the primary point person to measure the success of our consulting business and to identify, recommend and implement operational improvements. You will be working with both the management team and individual consultants to enhance the effectiveness of our project reporting, time reporting, financial forecasting, and talent acquisition; all critically important to the effectiveness of our business. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide monthly financial summaries and lead discussions regarding significant events impacting the financials
  • Drive improvements and standardization to our resource forecasting to help practice managers have the right skillset, for the right client opportunity, at the right time
  • Help improve our recruiting and hiring practice for both permanent and contract resources to attract and retain key resources
  • Develop how-tos for the management team to assist in consistency of common management tasks
  • Provide regular communication to the broader team of important changes and events
  • Manage our disaster recovery planning, preparedness, and reporting
  • Manage our client satisfaction survey process and provide input on ways to improve customer loyalty
  • Travel 5% to 10% (or as needed).


What you bring:
You will bring the following key skills and experience to help us succeed:

  • Business Degree in Administration, Accounting, or Project Management
  • Financial forecasting experience with an emphasis on the services industry
  • Proven process automation and improvement experience within large organizations
  • Experience with one or more systems development life cycles (waterfall, lean, iterative, agile) and understanding of successful testing approaches
  • Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in business process development, documentation, and re-engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Excellent training/presentation skills to educate the organization on new or updated processes


Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working within a revenue generating consulting organization
  • Broad knowledge of FIS' products and services, business practices and processes
  • Project management or business analysis certifications
