Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Collect, transform, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Develop and optimize databases, data warehouses, and analytical systems.
• Create scalable data models that support business and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with international clients to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and accuracy across systems.
• Build automated processes for data ingestion, processing, and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and system performance.
• Create technical documentation and maintain data definitions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Stay current with modern data technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related fields (senior candidates preferred, exceptional candidates are welcome regardless of years of experience).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, Go, or similar).
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data transformation concepts.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Experience building real-world data pipelines, reporting systems, or analytical solutions.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with international teams and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

• Experience with any of the following:
• Data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, or similar)
• ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, Talend, SSIS, or similar)
• Big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, QuickSight, or similar)
• Containerization and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Data governance and data quality frameworks
• Machine learning pipelines or AI-related workflows
• Open-source contributions, GitHub projects, or personal portfolios
• Note: We do not require expertise in any specific technology stack. We value engineers who can learn quickly, adapt to new tools, and build high-quality data solutions.
