Summary 

Reporting to the BI Manager, the Data Analyst is a hands on Power BI expert who builds and supports the reports our Wholesale and Inhouse divisions rely on every day. You will design and own Power BI reports and dashboards, serve as first line support for BI tickets and incidents, and help raise the level of our BI team by bringing strong technical depth, sound modeling practices, and ideas for streamlining and automating how we work.


Essential Job Functions 

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for the Wholesale and Inhouse divisions.
  • Develop data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations that keep reports accurate, fast, and easy to use.
  • Optimize existing Power BI reports for performance and usability.
  • Publish and manage reports in the Power BI Service, including workspaces, refresh schedules, and security.
  • Serve as first line support for BI tickets, emails, and incidents, replying to tickets within 24 hours.
  • Call stakeholders to understand issues and guide them through basic troubleshooting.
  • Pick up minor changes, enhancements, and bug fixes from the BI Support board as part of business as usual work.
  • Own initial contacts on the BI feedback process and convert IT tickets into feedback requests when raised by the Wholesale division, with senior support as needed.
  • Adhere to core SLAs for incoming tickets and share support performance with senior team members in stand ups.
  • Identify automations and optimizations that streamline BI support and reporting.
  • Work with other IT teams to find answers or redirect requests where appropriate.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the BI Manager when support workload is low.
Qualifications

Education/Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
  • 5+ years of hands on Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • Experience publishing and managing reports in the Power BI Service.
  • IT literate, preferably with the Microsoft Office package.
  • JIRA and AWS Redshift experience is a plus.
