The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Emerging Technologies organization is seeking a Cyber System Security Engineering Associate Manager who will support the technical lead's and guide a team of platform engineers that design, deliver, and sustain platforms for the Aeronautics Line of Business, providing 21st‑century security and functionality for our programs.
The role is split roughly 25 % into team management and 75 % into hands‑on engineering. In this position you will partner closely with the IPT and tech lead's to set direction, provide decisive engineering guidance, and ensure the deployment of specialized tools that satisfy operational, governance, risk‑management, and compliance requirements for classified systems and infrastructure.
You will oversee Cyber Platform Engineers activities that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified assets, drive advanced risk‑governance operations, and implement proactive, automation‑enabled security practices. Leveraging deep expertise in development and security controls, you will also focus on training, mentorship, and compliance enforcement so the team consistently delivers resilient cybersecurity solutions.
