Customer Account Specialist (CAS)
The Customer Account Specialist (CAS) works closely with ADI Account Team to proactively manage all aspects of assigned customer's demand stream with ADI. Also serves as a liaison between the customer, ADI sales, Franchised Distributor and ADI manufacturing for their assigned customer. The overall objective of this position is to keep customer requirements and ADI’s supply in line by gathering data and completing required analysis to be shared with external and internal customers. A successful candidate will be able to deal with a high-pressured environment with rapidly changing data and short deadlines. Scope includes analyzing customer demand patterns, and partnering with Sales to drive current revenue plan.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with and coordinating across Business Unit and Manufacturing functions (Sales, Customer Service, Planning/MFG) to align forecasts and revenue plans, facilitating Manufacturing's operational support towards key business strategies/initiatives
- Build key relationships with ADI’s customers
- Identify key issues across a broad range of areas and effectively communicate recommendations and findings to executive leadership
- Directly manage critical supply chain situations, delivering status updates and leading customer meetings (calls and/or face to face)
- Supply Chain Analysis - understand supply position at each stage of production
- Drive Global Supply Manager (GSM) interaction with respect to forecasted quantities on the assigned programs
- Review forecast data submitted by the customer for accuracy and changes, and question the customer on any forecast issues
- Coordinate the completion of Supply Health reports and share the reports with the customer
- Maintain the available dashboards for ease of data sharing; review the shipment history and existing backlog and include the additional data with the summary to ADI teams
- Driving proper purchase backlog coverage from either Direct or Distribution channel that inline with End Customer Backlog and the forecast
- Assist Sales to submit quotes in system, and sample applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Mandarin
- Organized and a multitasker
- Strong computer and Excel/ Power Point skills
- Ability to see situations from a Macro point of view
- Preferably, experience in Operations or Supply Chain management
Location: Taipei
