Responsibilities

The Corporate Treasury Director assists the Corporate Treasurer in leading key treasury functions and developing holistic, analytical approaches to balance sheet management. This role identifies and executes strategies to optimize net interest margin and capital positioning while appropriately managing interest rate, liquidity, and capital risks. The role also leads capital planning and financial modeling activities, partners with senior leadership on strategic decisions and forecasts, and supports partnership due diligence activities.


Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $106,100 - $214,600 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.


Key Accountabilities 

Lead capital planning and capital optimization activities:

  • Develop and maintain an integrated capital planning process, including forecasting regulatory capital ratios and evaluating capital capacity under a range of business and economic conditions.
  • Analyze and recommend capital deployment and funding actions, including dividends, share repurchases, capital markets activities, and other strategies that enhance capital efficiency.
  • Oversee the annual capital stress test and related scenario analysis to support strategic planning and meet regulatory expectations.

Identify and execute balance sheet optimization strategies that improve margin and capital returns while managing interest rate and liquidity risks

  • Establish analytical frameworks that enable timely, data-driven decisions across net interest margin, funding, liquidity, and capital positioning.
  • Evaluate and execute balance sheet, funding, and hedging actions that improve risk-adjusted performance.
  • Collaborate with partners across Finance and the lines of business to support corporate objectives, pricing and growth decisions, and effective management of ALCO risks.

Enhance asset-liability management analytics, forecasting, and model governance to support balance sheet performance and regulatory expectations.

  • Design and implement quantitative methods and key assumptions that improve the precision and decision usefulness of margin, capital, and balance sheet forecasts.
  • Maintain sound model governance and controls that meet regulatory expectations and support reliable management reporting.
  • Review net interest income and balance sheet forecasts for strategic planning, performance management, budgeting, and compliance purposes.

  • Strong communication skills and ability work effectively with internal and external clients

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required, preferably in finance, economics, and/or mathematics. MBA or a CFA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of treasury or finance experience in the banking industry, or related field
  • Advance knowledge of asset liability management systems and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required
