Job Description
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Processing and reviewing H Mart new stores payments (i.e. construction or supplies) and budgeting chart from the correspondent department (Asset, IT, Marketing, Design, HR, etc.) in accordance with timeline and procedures
- Order, maintain and manage corporate/store gift certificates
- Work with team members to facilitate the daily work process
- Prepare Weekly Gross Profit (GP) reports – including monthly reports for distribution center using SAP software
- Manage the monthly financial closing process to ensure all transactions are properly stated based on the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Work with the external auditors to process internal control understanding, quarterly, review and annual audit
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Knowledge in SAP is preferred
- Able to travel domestically
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attentive to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Experience in the related field is preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Bilingual English/Korean is a must
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting Economic, or a related field
- Entry to experienced level in the field
- A CPA license is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.)
