BCI Solutions, Inc. is looking for a hands-on, business-minded Controller who wants to do more than manage the numbers. 

We are a privately held, growing manufacturer specializing in gray and ductile iron castings and precision CNC machining. We are looking for a financial leader who can serve as a true strategic partner to the CEO/President and leadership team. 

This is not a traditional accounting role. You will help drive the business by challenging assumptions, evaluating opportunities, managing risk, and turning financial and operational data into better business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with the CEO/President and Executive team on strategy, business performance, and key decisions.
• Own the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costs, labor and overhead rates, inventory valuation, variances, scrap, and profitability analysis.
• Work closely with operations to understand what's happening on the shop floor and connect operational performance to financial results.
• Provide financial analysis to improve pricing, quoting, product/customer profitability, working capital, and margins.
• Evaluate capital investments, growth opportunities, and operational improvements using sound financial analysis and ROI.
• Manage banking relationships and support financing, liquidity, and capital planning.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, reporting tools, and ERP systems.
• Lead, develop, and hold the accounting and finance team accountable.
• Identify problems early, ask the difficult questions, and bring recommendations, not just reports.

Requirements

   What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience preferred, including leadership responsibility.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, ERP systems, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to connect financial performance with production, labor, scrap inventory, pricing, and operational performance.
• Experience managing cash flow, banking relationships, working capital, and capital investments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• A confident, analytical leader who can challenge assumptions, communicate directly, hold people accountable, and earn the trust of both leadership and operations.
