Toppazzini and Lee Consulting (T&L) is a boutique consulting firm located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. T&L specializes in providing lean six sigma consulting, outsourcing and training for the public sector, health care, manufacturing and financial services.
Although T&L specializes in Lean Six Sigma our outsourcing practice includes a range of temporary resourcing options such as Information Technology, Business Process Management and Re-engineering, Lean Six Sigma, Lean, Six Sigma, Human Resources and Project and Risk Management.
Job Description
We are establishing a pool of qualified sub-contractors to fill contract positions as they arise. The ideal candidate must be either black or master black belt and have 10 or more years of experience in working on or leading lean, six sigma or lean six sigma projects. You must have experience working with small to medium size organizations and fully versed in Lean. We are looking to fill anticipated contracts in the Ottawa area. You must apply by July 10th, 2014 and live within the Ottawa area. Contracts are expected some time after September 2014.
Qualified candidates will also be considered for teaching opportunities.
QualificationsThe lean six sigma consultant must have 10 or more years of experience and possess the following experience:
- Track record of generating savings and performance improvement for clients;
- Facilitating working groups and project teams;
- Coaching clients in the area of Lean and/or Lean Six Sigma;
- Managing projects;
- Presenting to senior management;
- Application of lean and/ or lean six sigma in manufacturing
Skills Required
- Black or Master Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma
- 10 or more years of experience leading or working on Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma projects
- Experience applying Lean and/or Lean Six Sigma in manufacturing
- Proven track record of generating savings and performance improvement for clients
- Facilitating working groups and project teams
- Coaching clients in Lean and/or Lean Six Sigma
- Project management experience
- Experience presenting to senior management
- Experience working with small to medium-sized organizations
- Reside in the Ottawa area and be available for local contracts
- Willingness to work as a subcontractor on temporary/contract engagements
