Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.
Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with Map/Reduce and/or Hadoop, Hive, and/or Pig. Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification. Within the last seven (7) years, a minimum of five (5) years experience programming with at least two (2) of the following languages: Java, C, and/or C++. Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment. Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, CloudBase/Accumulo, and/or Big Table. Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with requirements analysis and design for one (1) or more object-oriented systems. Demonstrated experience developing Restful services. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; an associate's degree in computer science or related discipline and two (2) years programming experience or five (5) years programming experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary range depending on experience - 165,000 - 200,000

Skills Required

  • At least one year within the last three years of experience with MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, or Pig
  • At least one year within the last three years of experience with HDFS
  • Hadoop or Cloud Developer Certification
  • At least five years within the last seven years programming with at least two of Java, C, or C++
  • At least three years within the last five years designing and developing applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments
  • At least three years within the last five years using distributed open-source NoSQL products such as HBase, CloudBase, Accumulo, or BigTable
  • At least one year within the last three years performing requirements analysis and design for object-oriented systems
