We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact.
What You’ll Do
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll help design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You’ll work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.
Your work may include:
- Infrastructure Management: Provision and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services (Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Services, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Virtual Networks).
- Containerisation: Orchestrate and scale containerised applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
- Automation & IaC: Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Security & Governance: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management via Microsoft Entra ID, alongside network security groups (NSGs) and firewalls.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Track system health, uptime, and logs using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- CI/CD Integration: Support deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Cost & Performance Optimization: Audit resource usage to right-size environments and reduce unnecessary cloud spend.
What We’re Looking For
We value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:
- Experience: 3+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or DevOps roles.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI, plus networking knowledge (VPN gateways, subnets, DNS).
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) preferred.
Just as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.
