We're looking for a Junior Cloud Architect whose role covers the entire life cycle of a product or project by supporting developers, data scientists, and other professionals with architecture design, security, risk mitigation, and delivery, including ticket incident response and resolution. Your primary focus will be automation and continuous integration/delivery, with an emphasis on solving architecture and infrastructure issues.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Build and support secure cloud solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure, experience with other cloud providers will be considered based on level of experience.
• Collaborate with development team members to troubleshoot, and resolve problems associated with cloud hosted services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure, service, and application monitoring tools.
• Exposure to Enterprise-level security protocols and methods such as web application firewalls, SSO & SAML, multi-factor authentication, federated identity, Azure B2C.
• Experience with automated security tooling, such as vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and prevention is a plus.
• Experience writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences.
• Demonstrable track record of prioritizing needs and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
• Respond to and resolve incident management tickets in a timely manner ranging from Tier 1 through Tier 3 issues and proactively communicate with stakeholders regarding status.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Create, update and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Background in infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues and basic understanding of network protocols.
• Ability to draw and visualize architecture from multiple perspectives.
• Clear understanding of and experience building CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps is a plus
• Experience with both Windows and Linux
• Atlassian Products
• Basic understanding of coding languages
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Infrastructure, or DevOps role
• Microsoft Azure certifications is a plus
