About FSH Technologies

FSH Tech builds modern software that just works for the public sector. When we deliver, taxpayer dollars go further, agencies move faster, and millions of Americans get tangibly better service and quality of life.

Local governments, schools, libraries, and emergency services run on brittle software that was built decades ago. This results in wasted budgets, broken workflows, and bad outcomes for the public. We believe that the institutions closest to people's daily lives deserve products as good as anything in the private sector. We're building them.

We're a small, high-agency team. The people who do their best work here are:

  • Relentlessly optimistic in creating a better world now

  • Driven to have the most impact they can for society

  • Brilliant and creative

Role Overview

As a Client Strategist at FSH Technologies, you'll own the end-to-end relationship with our clients. This spans the initial pre-sale demo process through implementation, product delivery, and contract expansion. You are the primary person responsible for client outcomes: understanding their workflows and requirements, delivering against them, and working closely with engineering to ensure client success.

This is a high-ownership, high urgency, client-facing role for someone who thrives on execution velocity and is comfortable moving across multiple engagements at once. You'll work side-by-side with our Client Engineers to ship exceptional products for the governments we serve.

You’ll also work directly inside our product to configure workflows, make lightweight changes, and unblock clients without always waiting on an engineer. The right person blends strong project delivery instincts with commercial awareness and technical fluency.

What You'll Do

  • Own client engagements end-to-end: scoping the work, aligning our software to their requirements, and driving projects to a successful outcome.

  • Partner closely with Client Engineers to scope, build, and deliver solutions — translating client needs into clear technical direction and modern software products.

  • Manage stakeholders across our government clients, from frontline staff to senior officials, building trust and translating their goals into concrete deliverables.

  • Navigate internal teams and organizational structures to advocate on behalf of FSH and our client stakeholders.

  • Own pre-sales demo processes to convince potential government clients of FSH’s unique value.

  • Write documentation and lead onboarding/training sessions to help clients become self-sufficient and get to value quickly.

  • Build product and make product changes without needing to route every request through engineering.

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and surface new areas where FSH can deliver impact.

  • Operate in ambiguity, prioritizing ruthlessly and figuring out what matters most when the path isn't concretely laid out for you.

  • Present to, and sometimes on behalf of, your clients at local community events, conferences, and award ceremonies.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in a capacity that required you to deliver projects, manage stakeholders, and find new opportunities for work. This could come from consulting, GTM/revenue operations at a company selling into enterprises, a founder role, or some comparable background.

  • A track record of owning outcomes and navigating delivery.

  • Technical ability: You must be comfortable making simple product or configuration changes on your own and learning new tools quickly. You will not be expected to write production code, but you shouldn't be afraid to get into the weeds and you should be able to work effectively alongside engineers.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to context switch between non-technical and technical audiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to easily navigate through local city politics and large group settings.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.

Nice to Have

  • Experience founding or working in an early-stage startup or other fast-moving environment

  • Familiarity with state and local government, public sector, or other complex institutional clients

  • Some technical background - some examples may include shipping fun side projects for yourself, having a CS undergrad degree, or contributing to open source projects

  • Public speaking, streaming, or teaching experience

Employees are expected to live in New York City or Philadelphia and work out of our office in either location.
