Job Description

As a Chris21/Workday Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in this 12-month contract by resolving integration touchpoints between Workday, Chris21, and key third-party platforms. Reporting to the Lead Payroll Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage system errors, optimise configurations, and drive continuous process improvements.

Day to day you will:

• Triage and resolve integration errors between Workday, Chris21, and third-party systems.
• Analyse integration logs, EIBs, and payload files to restore automated data flows promptly.
• Manage and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 ServiceNow support tickets efficiently.
• Perform regular master data audits between platforms to ensure complete data synchronisation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, custom reports, and configuration updates.
• Execute configuration tweaks across Workday business processes and Chris21 interface files.
• Support system testing, upgrades, and bi-annual Workday platform releases and Chris 21 upgrades as required by the vendor.

What you'll bring:

• Hands-on functional configuration experience within Workday and core HCM modules.
• Functional user experience with Chris21 and strong end-to-end payroll process knowledge.
• Demonstrated capability across the testing lifecycle, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Experience using Workday EIBs for data conversion, security frameworks, and calculated fields.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills combined with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to business teams.
• High level of autonomy to manage your workload and make sound configuration decisions.
