About Vitalic Health
Vitalic Health is closing one of the largest and most expensive gaps in US healthcare: behavioral health care for older adults. We partner with Medicare Advantage plans and ACOs to find members struggling with depression, anxiety and related conditions, and then engage and treat them through our virtual, team-based care model.
The market is responding. In the past 8 months, we signed three payer and ACO contracts, are on track to triple revenue over the next 12 months, and closed a seed round that was 30% oversubscribed, led by strategic investor VNS Health.
The timing matters. CMS has made Depression Screening and Follow-Up (DSF-E) a Medicare Stars measure starting in measurement year 2027. Health plans now have a clear, dated reason to act, and Vitalic is built for exactly this gap.
We are an early-stage, venture-backed, and founder-led company. Our founders are in active conversations with large health plans and provider groups. We need someone who helps turn that momentum into signed deals.
The role
The Chief of Staff is the founders' right hand, with one clear top priority: help us sell. You will spend most of your time making our business development sharper, more disciplined, and better prepared. The rest goes to keeping the company running smoothly so the founders can stay focused on customers.

What you'll do -First 12 mos
Help us sell (about 80% of your time)
- Build the sales playbook. Write down how we sell: who we target, the steps of a deal, our core story, how we handle common objections, and the materials for each stage. Keep it current as we learn.
- Run the pipeline. Own our CRM and keep it accurate. Run a weekly pipeline review with the founders. Build a simple, honest forecast we can share with the board.
- Prepare us for every meeting. Before each important meeting, deliver a short brief: who is in the room, what they care about, what the organization is dealing with, and what we want to walk out with. Afterward, capture notes and make sure follow-ups happen on time.
- Map the buyers. Health plans and ACOs are large and complex. Figure out who the decision-makers, influencers, and blockers are in each target account (for example, in quality, Stars, behavioral health, care management, and finance), and how to reach them.
- Research the market. Track target accounts, competitors, and regulatory changes (like DSF-E and Stars rules) so the founders always walk in informed.
- Build sales materials. Draft proposals, decks, ROI models, and one-pagers with the founders.
Give the founders leverage (about 20% of your time)
- Own special projects. Take on whatever the founders most need done: a partnership, a hiring push, a new process, a vendor decision.
- Keep things organized. Manage key administrative work so it never lands on a founder's desk by default.
