Job Summary:
As Chief of Staff you will gain experience in developing and executing business and market strategies, running a business from an operational and profit and loss perspective, building relationships with internal and external senior leaders, leading and engaging a large organization, driving corporate-level projects and activities and leading change.
This position will require strong leadership, communication, collaboration and organization skills, as well as ability to build effective business relationships. Demonstrated leadership and a positive and flexible attitude is critical to success in this position. Absolute trust and maintenance of confidentiality are essential.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Aid the CEO in achieving the company objectives including: organizing the team, driving required change and initiatives, and growing business and execution acumen
  • Review and evaluate strategic organizational focus and priorities, identify and recommend optimization opportunities and assist in the implementation of said recommendations
  • Provide interface with Boeing Space and Missions Systems (SMS) and Millennium to help set priorities, facilitate information flow and help with alignment of the organizations and their business objectives
  • Define and execute the operating rhythm and facilitate meetings/events according to the operating rhythm while closely coordinating with other Boeing organizations, such as Space, Intelligence Weapon Systems (SI&WS) and Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), as well as coordination with MSS Customer Leads for "regular" customer tag-ups
  • Lead the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events; develop and consolidate executive level briefings; monitor and track actions, project and initiative execution and communicate status
  • Prepare for and coordinate key internal leadership meetings as well as visits with external high-level customers, and local, state and national legislative visitors
  • Facilitate communications and actions between senior leadership staff and Boeing program leadership and organizations; ensure organizational alignment with processes and compliance requirements; provides guidance to and solicit feedback from program staff for consolidated reporting to SI&WS, BDS and Boeing Corporate
  • Support the CEO and Leadership Team execution, communication and customer engagement
  • Prepare high level briefings for internal and external customers
  • Work special assignments and projects as directed by the CEO
  • Provide proactive coordination across the leadership teams, provide strategic project management and support operational efficiency for the organization
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team by fostering a culture of trust, agility, and collaboration
  • Manage a team of direct reports in various functional areas of expertise, providing the mentorship and guidance necessary for team members to grow and succeed

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 8+ years of experience in a role directly interfacing and supporting enterprise level leadership developing and leading projects and/or presentations
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Aerospace industry experience, preferably with spacecraft systems
  • 8+ years of experience with execution of large-scale projects and events at the enterprise level
  • 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional and/or project teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:Level K: $126,650 - $186,250
Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance. Additionally, applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance. We encourage all interested candidates to apply for any open position for which they feel they are qualified.
