About the Role:
As the Category Lead and Senior Sourcing Manager for Investment Services and Platforms, you will be responsible for leading and managing the global sourcing and category strategies to achieve optimal cost savings, quality, and efficiency in this category. Invesco’s Investment Services & Platforms category includes outsourcing administrative services, transfer agency, custodians, trading, real estate and the technology systems and third-party data to support these areas across the investment enterprise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies aligned with Invesco’s strategy and objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Functions and Business Lines to understand their requirements and develop category strategies aligned to requirements, growth and cost profile.
- Drive supplier relationship management initiatives, fostering strong partnerships and continuous improvement for key supplier relationships in the category
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service level agreements.
- Drive the key, material sourcing events in the category (RFx, Renewals, sole source negotiations) along with contract negotiations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the sourcing and category landscape (i.e. Porter’s Five Forces, Gartner, Hackett, etc)
Requirements of the Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field. Master's degree desirable.
- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management, and technology preferably in financial services. Will consider 10 years relevant business experience in the Investment Services category area.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
The salary range for this position in New York is $195,000 - $213,000 base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
