CAD Designer (Entry Level), Plastiform, A Nefab Company
Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. We are now looking for an entry level CAD Designer to join our team at Plastiform in Irving, TX.
Salary: $35 - $50k commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY
As a Designer you will:
- Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
- Attend regular development meetings
- Address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process
- Make revisions to models as requested
- Keep up to date on all modern advancement in material and software technologies
- Pursue ongoing education in the field
- Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling
- Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers and other departments.
- Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings
- Create CAD drawings
- Assist Sr. Engineers/Designers perform special engineering project assignments
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 2 year degree in related field (Engineering, Drafting, CAD design, etc.) Preferred
- 1+ years formal education/experience utilizing Solidworks CAD software
- 2 years Solidworks/CAD experience highly preferred
- Exposure to working in a professional environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to the end
- Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner
- Ability to understand drawings and specifications
- MS Office applications user level experience
- Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time
