Job Title : C# .Net Developer
Location: Olympia, WA
Duration: 8+ Months

Scope of Work:
a) Ability to effectively contribute and work on a self-directed team.
b) Ability to effectively produce in multiple IT disciplines, including requirements identification, business analysis, coding, QA testing, and system documentation.
c) Skills in Object Oriented modeling and design
d) Skills in system requirements specification development and documentation
e) Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Specific duties include:
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of software using C#, ASP.Net, WCF, MVC, Entity Framework, JQuery, HTML, JavaScript and XML.
• Expert in writing SQL Scripts.
• Generate XML files
• Communicate with web services to send and receive data.
• Develop Reports in SQL Reporting Services.
• Obtain an understanding of key business needs and work directly with end users to create effective solutions.
• Elicit, understand, and document complex business processes and translate them into solutions.
• Interact and consult with senior and midlevel managers of WSDOT business units, as well as key Subject Matter Experts.
• Exercise excellent communication skills for communicating various system issues and meeting the customer’s expectations.
• Participate in workshop/interview meetings with business/application owners and end users
• Effectively manage time to assure commitments are met on time.
• Application Integration of .NET environments, and third party tools.
• Employ source code repository check-in processes.
• Employ a strong team-oriented focus

Required Skills
1. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Scienc or minimum 8 years’ experience in Information Technology Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a C#, ASP.Net and JavaScript Minimum 6 years’ experience working with SQL Server
2. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in writing store procedures and SQL scripts
3. Minimum of 4 years’ experience creating reports in SQL Server Reporting Services
4. Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Visual Studio 2010 or above
5. Minimum 2 years of experience working in WCF, XML and Web Services
6. Experience working in Entity Framework, MVC and JQuery
Desired Skills
1. Experience working in Visual Studio 2013
2. Experience working in SQL Server 2012
3. Experience using a Subversion source control
