Job Description
Developer will be expected to work in the agile environment to rapidly develop C# libraries for Azure Data Factory (ADF) components of Azure Data Warehouse-based data platform. Analytics built on this platform will enable business to make effective and efficient, data driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise working in a team environment implementing high-performance and scalability data processing code in C#.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in developing data management code in C#
- ETL Development skills, including:
- Handling scalability issues for enterprise level C# libraries
- Ensuring strong standards and code consistency
- Handling process restartability and error handling
- Strong following of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
- Strong code design experience in building ETL framework
- Experience in dealing with ambiguities to create rational and functional solution from imperfect requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience with building code for the cloud, ideally with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Factory environment
- Strong SQL writing skills
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills
- Self-starter with ability to work with high degree of autonomy, while ensuring collaboration and synchronization with the all on the technology team
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion and creativity – Are passionate about data, technology, & creative innovation
- Working knowledge of developing C# code for Microsoft Azure environment, including working with: Blob, Data Lake, Batch, HDInsight, Data Factory, and Data Warehouse
- Experience in using one scripting language (Python/Java) to solving data problems
- Familiarity with TV and/or MVPD business and data provides, such as Nielsen and/or ComScore/Rentrak.
