Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations. This role requires a deep understanding of business analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Project Preliminary Planning phase, including the development of business cases and concept proposals.
  • Produce project feasibility and cost-benefit analysis reports.
  • Transition projects from concept to chartered status.
  • Assist with project scope definition and management plans.
  • Capture and manage requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements development and management processes to project teams.
  • Utilize appropriate modeling techniques and tools to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirement documents.
  • Use JIRA to manage the lifecycle of requirements.
  • Conduct quality reviews and obtain signoff on requirements documentation.
  • Implement and enforce change management procedures for requirements documentation.
  • Provide recommendations for IT solutions to improve productivity.
  • Deliver informative and well-organized presentations.
  • Provide post-project implementation support and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and other requirement management tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Start Date: June 1, 2024

Engagement Length: One year contract with options
