You'll work directly with the CEO and executive team on whatever matters most. There is no fixed playbook and the scope will move with the company: events, facilities, university recruiting and collaboration, communications, customer initiatives, investor prep, supply chain, or something we have not encountered yet. The job is to understand what matters, organize it, and make sure it gets done. Low ego, high accountability, and direct exposure to leadership and customers from day one.

• Obsess about the details — sloppy work costs us later, so do it right the first time.

• Care — pick up the trash. Do things no one asks you to do. Go the extra mile because you care.

• Act with urgency — every hour matters more than it feels like it does.

• Be responsible for the outcome, not just the task; if it is not working, it remains your problem until it is fixed.

• Assume good intent — disagree openly, then commit fully once a call is made.

• Take on high-priority projects directly from the CEO and leadership team whatever the business needs most in a given week.

• Move fast without a playbook: figure out what needs to happen and make it happen, even without a template to follow.

• Work cross-functionally across the company, building context quickly on unfamiliar problems.

• Bring structure and follow-through to ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to move fast and figure things out without a playbook, shown through past work, projects, or other commitments that required real initiative under pressure.

• Low ego, high accountability. Takes responsibility for outcomes without needing credit.

• Comfortable operating with direct exposure to executive leadership and switching between very different types of projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• A track record of high-level competitive commitment, whether athletics or a comparable high-intensity pursuit, that demonstrates discipline, coachability, and performing under pressure.

• Exposure to fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startups, competitive sports, high-stakes academic programs).

• This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to Fuse's San Leandro, CA facility.

• Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.

• Position may require some business travel to other Fuse facilities.
