What is the role:
We’re seeking a highly organized, hands-on Business Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across the company.
This person will sit at the intersection of business operations, project management, and execution. They will own high-priority managing security and technical initiatives, while also serving as a cross-functional member of the business operations team.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional project manager who is equally comfortable building structure around complex projects, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and deliverables, and jumping into the details to get things done. They should have a strong background in business operations and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Experience with GRC, SOC 2, compliance, or related risk and control frameworks is a plus, but is not required.
What you'll do:
Take ownership of ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they arise.
Partner with internal teams including People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations to support employee and business needs.
Expertly project manage across teams on operational high-visibility, high-impact technical projects.
Drive documentation, evidence collection, process improvements, and cross-functional follow-up related to compliance and business operations.
Establish project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.
Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure deliverables stay on track.
Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively work to resolve them.
Ensure projects are completed with a high degree of quality, attention to detail, and urgency.
Experience working with GRC platforms, SOC 2 audits, security controls, or compliance programs is a plus.
What you'll need:
4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
Experience with GRC, SOC 2, compliance, risk management, or security operations is a plus, but not required.
Strong organizational skills and an exceptional attention to detail—you naturally create structure, establish priorities, and keep things moving.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward practical solutions and execution.
Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; Security+ and PMP certifications are a plus, but not required.
