Our client is a Dubai-based business services company providing company formation, accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax and related compliance services to businesses in the UAE.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or a similar client-facing role. Exposure to UAE Accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax is preferred, while an accounting background is preferred but not mandatory.
This is a client-facing role focused on understanding client requirements, selling relevant services, converting leads and managing client relationships through onboarding.
- Understand client requirements and recommend relevant accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax services
- Sell and upsell accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax solutions
- Prepare quotations and follow up with leads
- Convert company-formation clients into accounting clients
- Manage clients post-sale and coordinate onboarding with the accounting team
- Maintain client relationships and identify additional service opportunities
- Track leads and conversions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or a similar client-facing role
- Strong communication, sales, negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident and professional in client interactions
- Exposure to UAE Accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax preferred
- Accounting background preferred
- Experience in accounting, tax consultancy, corporate services or a similar domain preferred
- UAE experience preferred; UAE-based candidates preferred
- CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage, not mandatory
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Client interactions primarily remote; required travel reimbursed
- Availability outside working hours/weekends as needed
- 10–20 calls/week initially, scaling with the role
- Lead generation handled by a separate client-side team
