BIG’s London Studio is looking for an ambitious and highly organised Business Development Coordinator to join our team.

- Support the pursuit of new business and the positioning of BIG across SWANA / the Gulf, Ireland and the UK
- Conduct research and assess potential new opportunities and clients, and contribute to the development and tracking of the business development pipeline
- Coordinate and produce submissions, including PQQs, RFQs, RFPs, fee proposals, presentations and pitch materials in coordination with the wider Business Development and Bidding team
- Develop and maintain high-quality business development collateral, including project sheets, CVs, portfolios, credentials and presentation material
- Produce, edit and organise written and graphic content, ensuring submissions are clear, accurate, compelling and consistent with BIG’s visual identity
- Help maintain BIG’s CRM and project databases, including Salesforce, OpenAsset and Airtable, ensuring information is accurate, consistent and up-to-date
- Support client, consultant and collaborator engagement through meetings, presentations, office tours and relationship development
- Coordinate with BIG’s local project teams, specialist disciplines, global Business Development and Communications teams, and external consultants as required
We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Studies, Communications, Business or a related field, with 1–2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within architecture, design, construction or the wider built environment
- A strong interest in architecture, design, business development and market research, particularly across the London studio’s core markets
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate architectural and technical ideas clearly and accurately
- Strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong graphic and document-production skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, and Microsoft Office (please demonstrate in your portfolio / work examples)
- An understanding of the project lifecycle, procurement and competitions, as well as direct experience responding to PQQs, RFQs, RFPs and client proposals is be an advantage
- Experience with CRM or project databases; knowledge of Salesforce, OpenAsset or Airtable is an advantage
- Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages (e.g. Arabic) are an asset

Skills Required
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or design industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Studies, Communications, or a related field
- Interest and affinity for market research in architecture and design, particularly in the UK, Ireland, and Middle East
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proactive, self-disciplined, and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
- Ability to support multiple simultaneous pursuits with limited oversight and produce content independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
- Strong graphic skills
- Experience with CRM systems, including Sugar, OpenAsset, or Airtable
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Fluency in another language
