What's the role about?

We’re looking for a Business Applications Support Analyst to support and improve the business-critical applications, integrations, automations and reporting processes used across Reiss. Working closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business, you’ll monitor daily processes, investigate issues, maintain accurate documentation and help ensure our systems and data flows remain reliable and effective.

With a focus on proactive and reactive application support, you’ll take ownership of incidents through to resolution, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and contribute to small changes that improve efficiency and productivity.

This role requires flexibility to work in a varied shift pattern, with earlier starts, later finishes, and weekend work as agreed by a rota within the team.

Who you are

  • Strong, current experience supporting retail IT business systems, with a good understanding of the needs of a highly integrated, multi-channel retail environment.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate, alongside proven experience developing, maintaining and supporting automated business workflows and processes.
  • Confidence working with datasets of different sizes, including data handling, manipulation and correction.
  • A strong understanding of workflow automation, system integrations and process improvement, with the ability to support and monitor API integrations, plus experience working with SaaS solutions, user access and data pipelines. Exposure to Google BigQuery, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or retail, merchandising, finance and warehouse systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot, PowerShell, Postman or similar tools to support productivity, solution development and automated tasks would be desirable.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting both technical and non-technical users.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach, with the ability to learn independently, take ownership, meet deadlines and know when to escalate an issue.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitoring business applications, integrations, automations, scheduled tasks and data integrity, completing daily checks in line with agreed timelines and service levels.
  • Investigating and resolving incidents, owning assigned issues through to completion and escalating or handing them over to the appropriate internal or external party when required.
  • Building strong working knowledge of Reiss business applications and systems, including Microsoft Business Central, Board, JSCAPE MFT, Alteryx, Power Platform, Teamwork Commerce POS, Google BigQuery, PLM and PIM solutions.
  • Managing issues and resolutions through ITIL-aligned processes while keeping stakeholders informed and delivering courteous, professional support.
  • Working with internal stakeholders, suppliers and solution partners to investigate issues, resolve root causes and help prevent recurrence.
  • Maintaining clear, accurate and accessible documentation for applications, integrations, support processes, data flows, automations and scripts, while contributing to knowledge sharing and cross-training.
  • Delivering small system and process improvements that support business growth, team efficiency and productivity, including solutions created through PowerShell and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Following Business Applications Support standards and wider IT policies, including change management, environmental and security controls, testing strategies, and responsible use of AI.

What we’ll do for you

  • Competitive salary and company bonus.
  • Up to 65% employee discount.
  • Access to exclusive sample sales.
  • Health and wellbeing services.
  • Medicash health support plan.
  • Workplace pension contributions.
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
  • Electric Vehicle scheme via Octopus Energy.
  • Cycle to Work programme.
  • Season ticket travel loan.
  • Plus further workplace benefits.
