Accountabilities
- Serve as a key liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and end users to ensure product enhancements and solutions align with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable insights to support data‑driven product decisions.
- Maintain ownership of requirement documentation throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and traceability.
- Ensure the quality and usability of product deliverables by supporting testing, validating user stories, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending optimization opportunities.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., for analysis, documentation generation, insight synthesis, requirements refinement, or testing support) to improve speed, quality, and decision‑making across the PDLC and SDLC.
- Actively champion and model AI‑enabled ways of working within the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Identify opportunities where AI can streamline workflows, automate manual steps, or enhance product capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend their adoption where they can augment team performance or customer value.
Role and Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and user requirements to support new features, product improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in product discovery activities (problem framing, hypothesis definition, concept testing, customer interviews) supported by AI‑assisted research and insight generation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owner to define product scope, roadmap items, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Use AI tools to assist in research, creation of user stories, requirement documentation, process flows, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
- Apply AI‑driven insights to strengthen product proposals, customer journey understanding, and prioritization decisions.
- Support engineering teams by using AI to clarify requirements, refine documentation, and surface edge cases or dependency risks.
- Contribute to test planning and execution using AI‑powered testing aids to validate scenarios, generate test conditions, and analyze outcomes.
- Expand skills across the PDLC (e.g., UX, technical design, analytics, quality, change management) by incorporating AI to accelerate learning and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to quantify the impact of AI usage (e.g., time saved, improved requirement quality, reduced rework, enhanced clarity of decision‑making).
- Perform market, competitor, and customer research to strengthen product proposals and align solutions with industry trends and HealthTech best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and data models.
- Work with engineering teams to support solution design, clarify requirements, and resolve gaps or ambiguities.
- Support QA teams by validating test cases, participating in UAT, and ensuring that delivered features meet business expectations.
- Analyze product performance, user behavior, and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory, compliance, and privacy requirements related to our products (e.g., data protection, clinical workflows) and reflect them in product specifications.
- Support change management activities, including user onboarding, documentation, and communication plans.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within Product, preferably in HealthTech, SaaS, or technology-driven environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business processes into clear technical requirements.
- Experience working with Agile product development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, AI‑assisted analytics, AI‑driven documentation, or automated testing tools) to accelerate work or improve product outcomes.
- Proficiency in creating user stories, business requirements documents (BRD), and workflow diagrams (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Visio).
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional discussions effectively.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools) is a plus.
- Growth mindset with the willingness to expand responsibilities across the full product lifecycle, supported by AI‑enabled learning and tooling.
- Understanding of healthcare operations, patient/user journeys, or digital health ecosystems is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards in health contexts (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) is an advantage.
