Title/Role: BIM Revit Specialist
Division: Engineering
Location: Wallingford, CT
Reporting to: Senior Project Engineer
Position Summary:
Join E-J's growing Engineering team and build a career with one of the nation’s fastest-growing contractors. E-J is seeking an individual with Revit design experience in Electrical Construction. You will be responsible to use AutoDesk Revit to design and model Electrical equipment, conduits, and supports systems for Prefabrication and Installation. You will review schematics, plans, and models for Electric Code compliance. You will be trained on best practices in the Electrical Industry and advocate for E-J in meetings with Clients, Architects and Engineers, and other Trades.
Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and manage modeling efforts for project deliverables.
• Schedule and oversee supporting project staff to meet project deliverables.
• Apply National Electric Code, local building codes, and best practices to your designs.
• Model, and design using AutoDesk Revit to a high level of proficiency, and learn other software
• Assist project team with Contract review, 3D modeling, and production of Prefab/Install drawings
• Attend meetings and advocate for best electrical practices and designs
• Participate in reporting, accountability, and documentation practices to improve Engineering performance and maximize project profitability

Qualifications & Skills:

• Highly motivated team player
• 3-10 years of experience in a related field or industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Electrical and Construction knowledge and eagerness to learn more
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic AutoDesk product skills

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000/year
