About this Position

The Bilingual Training Designer 2 is responsible for planning and delivering a professional, organized and engaging training program for pre-licensing Instructors. The Bilingual Training Designer 2 will work in conjunction with Curriculum and Training Team to assess training needs, develop, and implement classroom materials. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish language is a must.
This is a hybrid position.
The salary range for this role is $55k - $65k.
This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Assist in developing training plans for current and future operations of PFSU.
  • Enhance presentation and facilitation skills of PFSU instructors, supplement training efforts of Regional Training Coordinators, and the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional materials to support instruction.
  • Develop materials in both English and Spanish to support instruction using a variety of media including text documents, manuals, job aids, e-learning, and technology support.
  • Create, translate, and review Spanish content.
  • Implement training through instructor-led classes and provide assistance to Regional Training Coordinators and Coaches with their training requests.
  • Evaluate instructor performance and curriculum requirements through needs analysis.
  • Conduct the Train-the-Trainer course for all new and experienced Instructors.
  • Collaboratively coordinate and provide agenda input for Home Office training meetings.
  • Maintain and analyze training records, database, and forms to monitor instructor performance and trainings.
  • Travel required nights and weekends to observe coaches and provide training.  
  • Participate in meetings as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Education, Adult Education, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and translating Spanish language.
  • Experience in adult education.
  • Three years of experience as professional trainer
  • Proficiency and experience in Microsoft and Apple products, and e-learning software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and practical instructor experience in the life insurance, securities and/or the financial industries, preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products and editing software is a plus.
  • Knowledge in life insurance is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a helpful attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and work on multiple projects at a time, extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel.
