Description:
· Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, leads requirement and design review meetings.
· Collaborates with engineers for creative ideas for Web portals supporting interactive content, analyzes and classifies complex change request and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements.
· Oversees issue resolution and implementation of alternatives across enterprise initiatives.
· Accountable for delivery of technology solutions.
· Addresses risks and implements contingency plans.
· Manages integration requirements and design.
· Supervises the preparation of designs and technical and/or functional specifications.
· Mentors others on coding standards and performs code reviews.
· Supervises others on developing application internals for usability, reliability and scalability requirements.
· Ensures system testing is complete, meets the test plan requirements and implemented according to plan.
· Provides consultation for integration activities with other IT to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
· Assesses current status and supports BI planning efforts.
· Designs and evaluates detailed design components with high-level architecture blue prints for multiple applications.
· Provides guidance on conducting vendor evaluation and provides strategic direction based on evaluations.
· Provides strategic guidance for developing pilots for Business Intelligence tool upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
· Requires an BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
· 10 to 15+ years' experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, Oracle required.
· Extensive experience with at least two of the following big data technology areas: HADOOP, NoSQL databases, Spark, Solar.
· Extensive experience designing solutions to business problems with big data technologies.
· Hands-on experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, R
· 10+ experience in architecture, design, development and delivery.
· 5+ years’ experience in leading technical teams thru delivery.
· Experience working on ETL tools and technologies preferred
· Actively explores and adopts advances in development tools and techniques
· Experience in Healthcare a Plus.
· Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools required.
· Ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects or a large project and provide troubleshooting support required.
· Multi database or multi language preferred.
