You'll architect and build the core of the context repository: the database, the versioning, and the retrieval that let AI agents reach correct, permission-aware company knowledge in real time.

This is deep backend work. You'll own the systems that keep context consistent and trustworthy at scale, from File versions and Change reviews to Automatic Change Reconciliation, and the Sync infrastructure that keeps the context repository up to date.

We're already live with 15+ design partners and launching v1 in Q3 2026. This is the rare moment where the product, the architecture, and the category are still yours to shape. We think of Qontext as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we hire people who feel the same.

• Design the data model and database systems at the core of the context repository

• Build versioning, change reviews, and automatic change reconciliation that keep context consistent and auditable

• Own the sync infrastructure that loads and reconciles data from every data source reliably

• Drive down retrieval times for hybrid search and ranking at scale

• Build the permission-aware APIs that expose context to Clients, with security as a first principle

• Write clean, well-tested code that scales from 15 design partners to thousands of enterprise users

• Love distributed systems and the hard parts: consistency, concurrency, caching, queues

• Are fluent in TypeScript and/or Python, with deep command of asynchronous programming and API design

• Know your way around databases, and ideally graph or vector stores, and how they power the modern AI stack

• Take pride in reliability and security, and ship features that don't break under load

• Thrive in an early-stage, low-ego, high-ownership environment with a direct seat at the product table
