AVEVA E3D Administrator / P&ID Consultant

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an AVEVA E3D Administrator / P&ID Consultant with experience in configuring, administering, and managing AVEVA environments for engineering projects in the Industrial, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Process Industry sectors.

The selected candidate’s primary expertise will be AVEVA E3D Administration. The role will also involve working with AVEVA P&ID, supporting platform configuration, customization, maintenance, and integration.

Main activities will include:

· Installing, configuring, and administering AVEVA E3D environments

· Creating and managing projects, databases, teams, users, roles, and permissions

· Configuring and maintaining catalogues, specifications, and components

· Managing PARAGON and Catalogue environments

· Configuring attributes, naming conventions, rules, and project standards

· Managing upgrades, patches, migrations, and troubleshooting activities

· Providing technical support to E3D users and design teams

· Configuring and administering AVEVA P&ID environments

· Supporting data consistency and quality between P&ID and E3D

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install, configure, and administer AVEVA E3D environments

· Create and manage projects, databases, teams, users, roles, permissions, and access configurations

· Configure and maintain catalogues, specifications, components, attributes, naming conventions, rules, and project standards

· Manage PARAGON and Catalogue environments

· Manage upgrades, patches, migrations, and troubleshooting of E3D environments

· Provide technical support to E3D users and engineering design teams

· Configure and administer AVEVA P&ID

· Manage P&ID templates, symbols, attributes, databases, and rules

· Support data consistency and quality between P&ID and E3D

· Develop customizations and automations using PML / PML2

· Analyze and resolve application and performance issues

· Integrate the AVEVA platform with external systems and corporate databases

· Support data migration, validation, and consolidation activities

· Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Project Management teams

· Produce project technical documentation

REQUIREMENTS

· Solid professional experience as an AVEVA E3D Administrator

· In-depth knowledge of E3D project structure and administration

· Experience managing E3D databases, users, access rights, and configurations

· Knowledge of PARAGON, Catalogue, and Specification environments

· Knowledge of AVEVA P&ID

· Ability to configure and customize P&ID environments

· Knowledge of the main plant engineering processes

· Good technical troubleshooting skills

· Good command of English, both written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE

· Experience with PML / PML2

· Knowledge of AVEVA Engineering / Unified Engineering

· Experience integrating P&ID and E3D

· Knowledge of AVEVA AIM / AVEVA NET

· Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

· Experience with APIs, Web Services, and application integration

· Experience in complex EPC projects

· Knowledge of other engineering tools, such as Hexagon Smart 3D or Smart P&ID

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are preferably looking for a person with at least 4-5 years of experience with AVEVA E3D, including specific hands-on experience in administration activities.

Direct experience in projects where the candidate has independently managed the configuration, administration, and support of E3D environments will be particularly valued.
