Position Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) architectures for a pharmacy eCommerce platform, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Lead the development of Pharmacy Ecommerce multi-site, multi-channel architectures tailored to the unique needs of the pharmacy industry, including prescription management, drug availability, and patient interaction. Ensure all eCommerce solutions adhere to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and implementing best practices for data security. Design and enforce security protocols for data handling, storage, and transmission, including encryption, access control, and audit trails to protect sensitive patient and pharmacy data. Optimize the performance of the pharmacy eCommerce application, ensuring fast load times, smooth user experience, and high availability,  especially during peak demand periods. Implement caching strategies, load balancing, and scalable infrastructure to handle large volumes of transactions and sensitive data efficiently. Lead the integration of secure payment gateways that comply with both healthcare and eCommerce standards, ensuring seamless transactions for pharmacy purchases. Implement multi-payment options, including insurance payments, HSA/FSA card integration, and secure credit card processing. Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to final deployment, ensuring timely and successful releases of pharmacy eCommerce solutions. Coordinate with all cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and healthcare professionals, to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables. 

Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. 

Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: HIPAA; GDPR; Headless & Composable Commerce; SFCC Development & Architecture; React-based PWA; Next JS; Node JS; RESTful APIs; GraphQL; AEM & Headless CMS Integration; TypeScript; DHP, and; Azure Devops. Travel to unanticipated client locations, throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
