Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Parameterization Specialist to join our Wealth Management platform. This pivotal role involves strengthening our core systems by leveraging your strong technical expertise in software development and solution design, specifically within the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into efficient Avaloq solutions, contributing directly to the enhancement of our wealth management offerings.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Comprehend intricate user requirements and translate them into robust and scalable solutions utilizing Avaloq parameterization, complemented by effective Unix and shell scripting.
- Development & Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and meticulously test solutions, adhering to the highest quality standards and best practices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Technical Validation & Alignment: Collaborate closely with Architects, Business Stakeholders, and technical teams to validate proposed solutions, ensuring they are not only technically sound but also optimally aligned with customer expectations and strategic objectives.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a go-to subject matter expert for assigned Avaloq modules, confidently delivering complex solutions independently and providing guidance to junior team members.
- Independent Contribution & Prioritization: Work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
- Impactful Contribution: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our online banking and online investment applications by developing features that enhance user experience, streamline operations, and meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in Avaloq Parameterization: Demonstrated hands-on experience in Avaloq parameterization, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and configuring Avaloq modules.
- Avaloq Development Expertise: 1-8 years of dedicated Avaloq Development experience, including the ability to independently develop software changes and conduct thorough unit testing.
- Unix & Shell Scripting Proficiency: Good hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting for automation, system administration, and data manipulation within an Avaloq environment.
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP): While not mandatory, an Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
- Wealth Management Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Wealth Management concepts, products, and processes, enabling you to better contextualize and optimize Avaloq solutions for our business needs.
- Agile Methodologies Experience: Practical experience working within Agile developmentmethodologies, promoting iterative development, collaboration, and continuous delivery.
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and error-free solutions.
- Database Skills: Knowledge of Oracle databases and proficiency in PL/SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Language Proficiency: Very good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Avaloq Banking Software: Minimum of 2 - 8 years of hands-on experience with the Avaloq banking software, demonstrating practical application of its functionalities.
- Overall Software Development: A minimum of 3+ years of overall experience in software development, showcasing a strong foundation in programming principles and practices.
- Educational Background: A University degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably in computer science or a related technical field.
- General Programming Acumen: Proven general software programming experience, indicating adaptability and a strong grasp of various programming paradigms.
