The Assistant HR Generalist will support the Human Resources department in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance activities. The role requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively manage day-to-day HR operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and labour regulations.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate the recruitment process.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Manage leave, attendance, and personnel files.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
- Assist in handling employee inquiries and grievances.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with payroll preparation and verification.
- Monitor compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Support disciplinary and performance management processes.
- Coordinate training schedules and employee development programs.
- Track training records and employee performance evaluations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience in a similar role.
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, HRCI) is an added advantage.
