We are looking for an Assistant Controller for the Finance Accounting team. The Assistant Controller – EMEA role is responsible for managing accounting activities across multiple regional entities, ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance with local regulations and company standards. The position supports financial reporting, closing processes, audits, and cross-functional collaboration, while driving process improvements and adopting new technologies.

Main Responsibilities :

Responsible for accounting activities across selected EMEA entities, including:

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards.

• Processing and monitoring vendor, payroll, and other financial payments accurately and on time.

• Supporting local teams on accounting and finance-related matters.

• Coordinating external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and communication with auditors.

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and reconciliations.

• Preparing reporting packages, working papers, and financial analyses, including balance sheet and profit & loss reviews.

• Supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance activities, and resolution of accounting discrepancies.

• Participating in process improvement initiatives and finance projects as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a university or a leading college - essential
  • CPA
  • Excellent English (writing and speaking) - essential
  • Background from one of the BIG 4 - essential
  • Knowledgeable in SAP - advantage 
  • Dedicated, independent, responsible, and able to manage several activities simultaneously  
  • Strong communication and service orientation skills 
  • Full-time scope - overtime as needed  
  • Proactive, with a willingness to improve processes and adopt new technologies, automation tools, and AI solutions.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA
  • Excellent English (writing and speaking)
  • Background from one of the Big 4 firms
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
  • Dedicated, independent, responsible, able to manage several activities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and service orientation skills
  • Full-time availability; overtime as needed
