Our client is seeking a Senior ASP.Net Web Developer to join the IS Web team. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team and work with technologies such as ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JQuery, web services and Kendo. 

PRIMARY DUTIES: 

• ASP.Net (C#) web development with emphasis jQuery, CSS, HTML & 3rd party controls. 

• Work directly with the teams technical lead on the design and approach 

• Work closely with business stakeholders to provide mockups and designs 

• Work within a teamwork oriented and collaborative environment 

• Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs, outages and issues 

• Adhere to corporate style and design guidelines 

• Adhere to department development guidelines and procedures 

• Adhere to IT production change control policies and procedures 

• Provide regular updates on status of projects, enhancements, and bugs/incidents 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

• BS in Management Information Systems preferred or equivalent work experience 

• 8+ solid years of experience as a web developer on a public-facing high-traffic site 

• 4+ years of experience as a web developer in ASP.Net/MVC (C#) 

• 3+ years of experience with MCF or Web API 

• Experience developing or working with a Web Content Management System (Web CMS) 

• Hands on experience developing responsive web applications 

• Hands on experience developing cross-browser friendly web sites (IE, FireFox, Chrome, Safari) 

• Demonstrates self-discipline and motivation in all aspects of job performance 

• Experience with System Development Lifecycle methodologies and validated systems 

• Able to complete assignments with minimal direction 

• Excellent verbal and written skills required with experience working on project teams 

• Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, and communications skill 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience supporting high volume, public facing web sites 

• Experience with web analytics (Google, SiteCatalyst) 

• Experience with CSS, HTML 5, and JQuery 

• Experience with Bootstrap 

• Experience with ASP.Net MVC 4+ 

• Experience with TFS f
