Position Summary
SHEIN Global Security & Risk Management is a global security organization that oversees security infrastructure, risk management, data privacy, governance and regulatory compliance across SHEIN's global footprint. It is composed of a team of security professionals, innovators and thought leaders that have had decades of global security experience, led large scale transformations, and served in Fortune 500 executive roles.

We are looking for an Application Security Engineering Intern this summer. If you are a passionate, have a hacker's mindset and curious about cybersecurity practices, please come join us to make SHEIN and its mobile app secure and sound for online shoppers.
You will work closely with seasoned cybersecurity professionals to apply security controls to our development pipelines, discover security loopholes in the web and mobile application and learn relevant security tools. You will also work with software engineering teams to enforce security practices and build processes.
Job Responsibilities

• Work with Sr. Application Security Engineers/Analysts in various practices through the Secure Software Development Lifecycle
• Evaluate and test application against security standards
• Assist in applying technology and tooling to set up DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipeline
• Manage vulnerability information collecting from various sources and check their impact to our applications
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors' degree or higher in the field of Cybersecurity engineering, computer science or an equivalent advance technology field of study
• Passion for all things tech, especially Cybersecurity and software securit
• Coursework in Cybersecurity, computer programming or related subjects

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of programming/scripting language such as Python, GO, or Scala
• Knowledge in cybersecurity tooling, testing methodology and software development
