Operational Handover: Validate that new customer deployments meet documentation, alert thresholds, and tracking metric standards before accepting operational ownership from Field Application Engineers (FAEs).
Technical Triaging: Triage incoming tickets, reproduce application defects in test environments, and escalate unresolved software issues to L2 engineering with targeted log data.
Production Operations: Execute scheduled configuration changes, system health audits, and remote software updates on live production environments.
Documentation: Write and maintain internal runbooks and technical troubleshooting guides to standardize incident resolution workflows.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Reconstruct incident timelines and extract log data to submit bug reports to Product and Engineering teams.
Experience: 3+ years supporting live production software environments within technical support, system administration, deployment engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE).
Linux Skills: Direct experience with Linux/Unix command-line navigation, system administration utilities, log parsing, and remote diagnostics.
Infrastructure & Networking: Experience navigating hybrid environments combining physical hardware, TCP/IP networking (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs), and cloud services.
Incident Communication: Experience providing technical timelines and status updates to internal stakeholders during critical incidents.
Languages: Professional fluency in English. French language proficiency is an asset.
Flexibility: Availability to participate in a scheduled night and weekend on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Bash, Python, SQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, or Prometheus. Background in IoT, edge computing, or computer vision environments.

What We Do
Outsight’s software solutions track the motion of people and vehicles using 3D LiDAR data. Operators of transportation hubs like airports and train stations but also sport venues, road infrastructures and industrial sites can now access accurate and anonymous Spatial Intelligence data, in order to improve operations and increase user safety and satisfaction. Our international team of scientists and engineers drive the development of our solutions from Paris, San Francisco, and Sophia-Antipolis (Nice). To support our global outreach, we also operate commercial offices in the UK, Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, and Singapore. We believe that accelerating the adoption of LiDAR technology through robust and scalable software solutions will significantly contribute to making the world smarter, safer and more sustainable
