EQT is seeking an Applications Analyst I/II/Sr./Lead to support the full lifecycle of our business applications within an Agile IT environment. You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure applications remain stable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.
In this role, you will contribute to application design and maintenance, identify opportunities for process or technology improvements, support system integrations, and maintain clear technical documentation. You'll also help monitor project timelines and provide end-user support through issue triage, root-cause analysis, and coordination with vendors or senior analysts.


The Application Analyst I/II/Sr./Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in aspects of EQT’s Agile IT environment which includes analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members and leaders across departments on strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior team members, business stakeholders, and technical partners to ensure applications are stable, secure, and evolving to meet business needs.
  • Participate in identifying opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Help monitor project deliverables and timelines, escalating risks or issues as needed.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of application documentation, infrastructure, dataflows, architecture, and technical procedures.
  • Support integrations between systems, ensuring accurate and efficient data flow between technology platforms.
  • Provide end‑user support, including issue triage, root‑cause analysis, and coordination with vendors or senior analysts.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience with enterprise applications and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, math, science or a closely related technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to upgrade and maintain multiple applications
  • Experience of the following: documentation; presentation tools; and basic project or task management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and tools.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to work beside team Leads who will support some supervision while multi-tasking across several project milestones and initiatives.
  • Ability to take ownership and/or accountability for departmental deliverables and provide broad subject matter skillsets in multiple areas.
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and interpersonal interactions.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Oil & Gas Industry
  • Exposure to SCADA systems, measurement technologies, instrumentation, and field‑level devices. (Cygnet, Ignition, Flowcal desired.)
  • IoT & Edge Computing.
  • Understanding of data movement, polling, protocols, and streaming of real‑time operational data workflows.

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
