Description

Our investment team is seeking to hire an analyst to support our private credit practice. Our private credit franchise centers around investing in specialized collateral-backed loans as well as opportunistic credit which we believe offers a differentiated risk-return profile vis-a-via traditional private credit. Examples of credit areas in which our team has invested in recent years include transitional commercial real estate loans, specialty asset-backed loans, secondary purchases of corporate credit, and investments in special situations. We have adopted a flexible implementation approach to executing our strategy, which includes direct origination as well as origination via joint ventures and select investments in private credit funds. In total, private credit represents close to $2 billion of our total AUM and remains a key growth area of the firm, and we expect to deploy close to $500 million annually into a variety of private credit opportunities.

We are seeking an analyst to amplify the sourcing, underwriting, origination, and surveillance capabilities of the existing team. A successful candidate will need to work closely with team members on multiple private credit investments across both our existing portfolio and investment pipeline.

Core Responsibilities

  • Success in private credit requires an analytical mind, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work closely in high-performing teams
  • Duties include underwriting individual credits, managing our pipeline and portfolio systems, working with borrowers/origination partners, researching specific investment themes, and supporting our existing funds and investor-facing team
  • Successful candidates will possess a deep interest in building a career in credit investing with desire to obtain exposure across a variety of collateral types
  • Relevant investment and credit experience developed at prior investment or capital markets-related firms will be a critical foundation for success

Please note that this role is expected to begin in Q1 2027. By applying, candidates acknowledge and confirm that they are comfortable with this anticipated start timeline.
