Job Description:
We are looking for an AIT intern to work on the integration and testing of our microwave-based volatiles extraction breadboards for lunar and orbital applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that will shape the future of space exploration, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics and AIT processes, with a strong interest in space technology development.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly and integration of our microwave-based volatiles extraction breadboards, following established procedures and protocols.
Conduct functional testing and performance verification of the breadboard, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the successful integration of electronic components and subsystems.
Document test procedures, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner.
Participate in design reviews and meetings to provide input and feedback on the breadboard development process.
Support ongoing efforts to optimize and improve AIT processes and procedures.
Utilize coding skills in C-Sharp (or other C-based languages) to develop test automation scripts or tools (if applicable).
To hit the ground running, you need to:
Pursue or hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Have a practical experience in electronics integration, and circuit design (requirement)
Have any experience in AIT processes.
Maintain strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be proficient in coding, particularly in C sharp or other C languages, is a plus.
Experience in the space industry is not required.
