Who We Are

At Storm Ideas, we supercharge the digital presence of some of the biggest names in US TV and entertainment. Since 2008, our international team has delivered bold, forward-thinking solutions for globally recognised clients.

Whether we're building innovative products, producing high-impact social content, or designing smarter ways for our partners to work—we’re right at the cutting edge of creativity, technology, and automation.

Embracing Future-Facing Technology

Emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence present exciting opportunities for us and our clients. As the world adapts, we’re committed to safely exploring the potential advantages of AI, integrating it thoughtfully into our work where possible, and one day guiding our clients through new possibilities when they’re open and ready for them. By tapping into our creativity, expertise, and collaboration, we aim to embrace its potential together. Our vision relies on people who are curious about this technology and excited to take on this challenge!

About The Role

We are hiring an Account Manager to grow client confidence, satisfaction, and account value. Our client portfolio includes some of the biggest names in global entertainment, including well-known animation brands, so this role will particularly suit someone who is excited by fandoms and understands why audiences care deeply about particular characters, stories, and worlds. You will combine relationship ownership, commercial awareness, and creative confidence to turn each client's vision into strong social work.

Creative confidence is central. You will not make every asset, but you must translate the client's vision, know what works and what does not on social, and review copy, design, and video with specific feedback the team can act on.

This is not a message-passing role. You will represent the client internally, engage with the quality and value of the work, bring structure to ambiguity, challenge weak scope, and make sure clients know what happens next.

Storm is an AI-native agency. AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how our teams work, and we hire people who want to work that way from day one.

We're not talking about using AI as a search box or an autocomplete. The person we're looking for treats AI as a capable pair of hands. They delegate whole pieces of work, not just questions. They review what comes back with a sharp, critical eye. And they keep refining how they brief and direct it, so the quality compounds. If you read that and thought "that's just how I work now," this role is built for you.

You'll learn your assigned account deeply: its strategy, services, relationships, commercial context, and the standard the work must meet. From there, you'll use Storm's AI and collaborative tools as part of how you plan, prepare, communicate, coordinate delivery, and follow through. The role remains account management at its core: building trusted relationships, exercising strong judgement, protecting the quality and value of the work, and helping accounts grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES

What can you expect?

  • Own client confidence and satisfaction, using AI tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working, not an afterthought. Build trusted relationships and communicate before clients need to follow up.
  • Understand each client's strategy, stakeholders, services, commercial context, audience, creative vision, preferences, and pressure points well enough to represent the account internally and anticipate needs.
  • Turn the client's creative vision into action across briefs, content calendars, campaigns, and deliverables. Review creative assets critically and give clear feedback that protects the intent while improving the work.
  • Work out what the client is asking for, what they may really need, and what matters strategically. Turn ambiguity into clear direction, context, owners, dependencies, decisions, and next steps.
  • Keep delivery coordinated across services, teams, timelines, blockers, and dependencies. Use agents and reusable workflows for preparation, action tracking, planning, research, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Bring strong account judgment to ambiguous work. Balance the relationship, delivery reality, commercial context, capacity, risk, and long-term account health. Diagnose issues first, then escalate with evidence, options, and a recommendation.
  • Protect the quality and value of Storm's creative, operational, strategic, and technical services. Challenge work that is weak, off-strategy, unsuitable for the platform, or unlikely to create the intended value, and help get it to the right standard.
  • Make account health and commitments visible. Surface sentiment, risks, opportunities, scope pressure, decisions, approvals, and follow-ups early, with records that people and agents can pick up and use.
  • Connect clients with Storm's wider expertise so they experience the depth and connected value of the team.
  • Spot and develop opportunities from client needs, service gaps, relationship signals, campaign moments, or operational problems, bringing enough evidence and context for the right people to act.
  • Improve how each account runs through better communication rhythms, reporting, documentation, approved AI workflows, and blocker framing. Coach teammates to bring evidence, what they have tried, options, and a specific ask.
  • Stay current in account management, social platforms, creative work, and the services around the role. Apply feedback and keep improving the quality, speed, judgment, and reliability of your work.
  • Keep improving how the work gets done: encode your best methods into reusable skills and workflows that agents and teammates can pick up and run, and teach what works so the whole team levels up with you.

Your Expertise

  • Evidence that you can own client relationships, stakeholder communication, account delivery, or complex operational conversations.
  • Strong creative and social judgment. You can translate a client's vision into briefs, recognize platform-native ideas, explain why an asset works or does not, and give constructive feedback across copy, design, and video.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI tools and agents in real work, studies, or personal projects: research, meeting preparation, context management, drafting, analysis, action tracking, QA, or workflow improvement, not just quick questions or meeting note summaries.
  • The judgment to review AI output against client strategy, service quality, commercial context, facts, commitments, and brand standards. You never treat it as finished work.
  • A systems thinker: you see repeatable account work as a workflow to design and improve, not a list of tasks to grind through.
  • High agency and ownership. You step beyond the immediate brief, drive improvements to completion, and know when to escalate early.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to recognize scope pressure, service gaps, account risk, and useful growth opportunities.
  • Operational, strategic, and technical curiosity. You understand the work around the creative, ask sharper questions, challenge weak assumptions, and explain tradeoffs plainly.
  • Comfort with collaborative systems such as Airtable, Monday.com, Notion, Asana, spreadsheets, Slack, Teams, or similar tools, plus an appetite to improve them.
  • Clear written and spoken communication. You make messy situations feel calm and practical and work well asynchronously.
  • Attention to detail held at speed: names, dates, decisions, dependencies, status, and promises stay accurate.
  • Enthusiasm for how quickly AI-enabled knowledge work is evolving, with an instinct for what improves client work and what is just noise.
