Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Acoustics
  • 3-8 years of relevant industry experience (aerospace, transportation, construction, or related field)
  • Knowledge of acoustics and vibration engineering
  • Experience with acoustic and vibration modeling
  • Experience with acoustic measurement techniques and signal processing
  • Advanced expertise in one of the following:
    • Finite Element Methods (FEM) applied to structural dynamics and acoustics
    • Sound design in buildings or performance halls
  • Experience creating simulation models, including:
    • Finite Element (FE)
    • Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA)
    • Ray Tracing
  • Experience developing simulation methods and analytical tools
  • Experience supporting laboratory testing and validation activities
  • Experience participating in ground and flight test campaigns
  • Experience analyzing test data and preparing technical reports
  • Ability to develop technical recommendations and communicate findings
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams
  • Innovative, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
  • Commitment to fostering a professional, ethical, and inclusive work environment
  • Fluent in English
  • French language skills preferred
