We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies;
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with general ledger reconciliations;
- Maintain records of prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities;
- Process and schedule payments for small suppliers;
- Monitor outstanding invoices and provide updates to leadership on open, past-due, or disputed payments;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes;
- Handle additional accounting-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required);
- Previous experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and work efficiently under pressure
