We’re looking for a part-time Accounting Assistant to support our Accounting Department Monday through Friday. In this role, you’ll assist with daily accounting tasks, collections, data entry, and other administrative duties. You’ll also help answer phone calls and provide general office support as needed to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are key to success in this role.
Requirements
- Assist with accounting duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections
- Assist with preparing and processing client invoices
- Perform data entry and scanning
- Maintain organized filing systems
- Serve as back-up receptionist, answering and directing phone calls as needed
- Support the accounting department and other teams with various administrative tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior accounting experience a plus
- Experience with accounting software (Deltek Ajera a plus)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well with others
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior office experience a plus
