ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a full-service certified public accounting practice specializing in tax, audit and financial planning services and is located in Birkirkara.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for assigned client portfolios.
- Support with reconciliations.
- Help prepare VAT returns and assist in the submission of statutory documentation.
- Maintain proper filing systems and accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to meet internal deadlines and client deliverables.
- Contribute to ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in client accounting, preferably in a professional services firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in Maltese and English (written and spoken).
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, client-focused, ability to manage deadlines, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; ACCA qualified or in the final stages.
WORKING TIME
Flexibility in starting time, from 08:00 till 09:00, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break to be taken at your pace. Fridays till 15:00.
