Keesen Landscape Management is seeking an experienced commercial landscape professional to lead a portfolio of client relationships in our Broomfield branch. The Account Manager is responsible for client satisfaction, contract retention, enhancement sales, service quality, safety, and the financial performance of assigned accounts.
This position is ideal for a responsive, accountable leader who understands commercial landscape operations, builds trust with clients, and follows through on commitments.
What You Will Do- Build strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of client and site visits to ensure service and quality expectations are met or exceeded.
- Recommend property improvements, sound horticultural practices, and service solutions that align with client priorities and budgets.
- Identify, estimate, present, and sell landscape enhancement opportunities that improve client properties.
- Lead the resolution of client concerns and coordinate timely follow-up with operations teams.
- Manage account renewals and support achievement of revenue, profitability, retention, and enhancement-sales goals.
- Coordinate with landscape maintenance, irrigation, plant health care, enhancement, holiday lighting, and snow-removal teams.
- Provide direction and support to three irrigation technicians and collaborate effectively with crews and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate account information, schedules, proposals, follow-up items, and customer communications in company systems.
- Promote safe work practices and reinforce accountability for service quality and operational performance.
- Manage approximately 30 to 45 commercial accounts representing a portfolio of roughly $900,000 to $1 million.
- Serve commercial, multifamily and HOA, retail, and medical properties.
- Work alongside four other Account Managers within a branch of approximately $10 million in annual revenue.
- Participate in a structured onboarding program and receive support from an assigned mentor.
- At least five years of experience in the commercial landscape industry.
- Experience managing people, crews, and subcontractors, including snow-removal operations.
- Experience with landscape enhancement sales, estimating, proposals, and client presentations.
- Strong client-service, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated organization, follow-through, problem-solving, and conflict-management abilities.
- Ability to make sound decisions, manage competing priorities, and work independently with careful attention to detail.
- Comfort learning and adapting to established and evolving operating systems and processes.
- A coachable, energetic, and accountable approach to leadership and customer service.
This role requires flexibility. Snow management is an essential responsibility and may require work outside normal business hours, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays when weather conditions require a response.
Compensation and Benefits- Base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 or more, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Annual performance incentive opportunity of up to 10 percent.
- One percent commission on landscape enhancements, with higher commission opportunities available to top-performing Account Managers.
