As an Account Manager, you will own and expand a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. This role is focused on customer retention, revenue growth, and account expansion, with a strong emphasis on renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
You will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering solutions that help customers achieve their goals while contributing directly to company success.
For candidates outside of driving distance to our office, this role my be offered as a remote opportunity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage a defined portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Build strong customer relationships that drive long-term loyalty and retention.
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned revenue growth and retention goals.
  • Engage customers through proactive outreach, business reviews, and strategic account planning.
  • Re-engage dormant or underperforming accounts and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful transition of new customers from the Business Development team.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, pipeline updates, and customer records in Salesforce.
  • Measure success through customer engagement, account retention, revenue growth, and achievement of activity goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven success in account management, customer success, business development, consultative sales, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue, retention, or account growth goals.
  • Strong ability to uncover customer needs, present solutions, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure customer renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Experience identifying and driving growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship management, and consultative selling skills; cloud or technology sales experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable engaging and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for business purposes as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONIDITIONS:
Occasional travel to off-site customer locations as needed.  Ability to read, write, and communicate orally and in writing to external and internal customers and employees.  Normal vision and normal hearing with or without correction.  Ability to move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. periodically.  Must be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive hand and wrist motions.
